Employment Branding Specialist II

Job Purpose


Responsible for driving and influencing the employment branding strategy for Southeastern Grocers. Implement strategies that drive attraction to our brand as an employer of choice, including career site and social media channels. This role will monitor the effectiveness of social media employment branding activities. The position will build brand trust for current associates and future candidates.



Responsibilities


1. Social Media
Optimize social media and marketing content to showcase our culture, company pride, awareness of appropriate current events and important observances. Serve as the social media employment brand ambassador and community manager across multiple outlets. Regularly monitor social media for company and industry related content. Develop compelling messaging that enables customers to establish deep relationship with our brand. Execute social media publishing and content strategies, ensuring that all posts are accurate and punctual. Maintain relationships with external agencies and internal design teams to create original content for all social platforms. Responsible for maintaining consistent branding identity and guidelines.

2. Graphic Design
Design and produce collateral materials, to attract and retain talent locally and digitally. Work with internal business partners to identify unique employment branding opportunities and needs while balancing the overall purpose, strategy and alignment between employment brand initiatives and the company’s overarching brand standards. Develop innovative and creative concepts to foster employment brand awareness and attraction across various demographic groups.

3. Reporting and Strategy Development
Develop and monitor key metrics offering relevant insights and trends. Apply findings to create new and improved strategies for employment branding. Produce and utilize metrics, data, and analysis measuring the effectiveness of social media employment brand efforts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to leadership and key stakeholders to influence strategy. Work collaboratively with the entire cross functional digital organization to align priorities as well as build out comprehensive analytics and reporting dashboards. Leverage data to measure the effectiveness of content programs and use this information to grow future initiatives.

4. Culture and Recognition
Support various culture and recognition initiatives and programs across the company. Monitor participation and effectiveness for all initiatives.


5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.


Qualifications


Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree or 4 years additional relevant work experience

Course of Study:

Marketing, communications, public relations, talent acquisition or related field


Education Preferred:

Bachelor's Degree

3 - 6 yrs minimum

Language(s) Required:

English


Supervisory Experience:

0 - 3 yrs minimum

English & Spanish


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

In-depth knowledge and proficiency in creative, graphic design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and video production programs.

Advanced PC skills in Microsoft Office.

Knowledge and proficiency with key social media tools.

Strong organization skills, attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:

Knowledge of recruiting processes.

Proficiency in Sitecore and web platforms.
